A Certified AAPG Petroleum Geologist with 30 years of experience in the Exploration and Production Operation and Petroleum Project Management, and Social Engineering with Shell, Esso, Phillips Petroleum, Unocal and Chevron.

Mr. Kosit began his career with Shell and Esso in onshore exploration seismic and wildcat drilling in Central and Northeastern Thailand, leading to discoveries of the presently known Sirikit Oil Field and Nam Phong Gas Field. He became in charge of Phillips Petroleum’s exploration project in Thailand, Sulawesi project in Indonesia, and Oklahoma City Oilfield in the U.S. He spent the following 25 years as geologist, manager and director of various positions in exploration, operations, public and government affairs, health-environment-safety and social engineering; with Unocal and Chevron, after the merger between the two in 2005. He was instrumental to the negotiation, acquisition, and exploration and production of nearly all 20 oil and gas fields in the Gulf of Thailand; exploration projects in the Andaman Sea and other N. Asean countries, and later in Sichuan, P.R. China.
